Getting the Very Best Air Conditioning

There are a variety of options available for cooling your home. There are portable air conditioners, window and wall units, swamp coolers, and central air conditioning. With all these options, how do you know which one is best for you? There are a few things to take into consideration before determining which 1 hour air conditioning is best for you. You will need to take into account the climate in which you live, what fahrenheit temperature you would like the keep your home at, and what will be easiest for you.

Portable Air Conditioners

While portable air conditioners are easy to use, they are on the more expensive end of 1 hour air conditioning. Portable air conditioners are compact and easily transported from room to room. They are not really energy efficient, therefore they can raise your electric bill. Overall, portable air conditioners are really only your best option if all the others are out. Ease of use and portability are cancelled out by high costs and having to roll the air conditioner to each room and wait for it to cool down.

Window and Wall Units

Window and wall units are great for cooling a room. They are not transportable, but they are more energy efficient. Window units, however, take up window space and can “leak air” due to lack of proper sealing around the edges. They are easy and quick to install, and are cheaper than portable or central air conditioning. Wall units do not take up window space and are sealed well along the edges making them more efficient at keeping a steady fahrenheit temperature. They can take several days to install, however, as the wall often needs to be braced to hold the weight of the air conditioning unit. If your building is unable to install central air conditioning, window and wall units are really great options for cooling your home.

Swamp Coolers

Evaporative air coolers, or swamp coolers, are eco friendly, low cost, low maintenance, and a perfect option for people who reside in a dry, hot climate. Swamp coolers sounds like a wonderful option, but if you’re living in Florida, the last thing you want to do is make your home more humid. Swamp coolers cool the air with water, creating humidity. They also need to be refilled with water every 6-8 hours. They are simple to use, easily transported, and the perfect choice for residents of Arizona or New Mexico. If you’re in Florida, your best option is coming up.

Central Air Conditioning

Living in Florida, central air conditioning is your best option. 1 hour air conditioning can come with a hefty price tag and take several days to install, but it is completely worth it for beating the heat. Central air conditioning is becoming more energy efficient all the time, and can be a good investment to keep mold and allergens out of your home. Most new buildings are built with central air conditioning, to keep a comfortable fahrenheit temperature of around 78 degrees in buildings. With central air conditioning, air is vented throughout the house by being moved through air ducts above the ceiling. These air ducts should be kept clear and clean, not allowing dust and allergens to transfer throughout the house. Central air conditioning is easy to use, controlled by a small box mounted on the wall. From there, you can control the temperature, see the level of humidity in your home, and even program times for the air to go off or raise, and come back on to cool down the house. It is imperative to keep the air conditioning unit in good working order and have it regularly maintenanced. Keep weeds and tall grasses away from the outside unit, and with regularly maintenance visits, your central air conditioning will keep you happy and cool in the Florida heat.

Before buying an air conditioning unit, take into consideration your climate and needs. Central air conditioning removes humidity from your home, while swamp coolers add it. Window and wall units are inexpensive, but do not thoroughly cool more than one room. Portable air conditioners are expensive and do not cool as efficiently as other options. 1 hour air conditioning is important in the Florida heat, so choose the option that works best to keep you from overheating.
